Sanctuary of wisdom. Within every person, there is a place which holds all the wisdom that we need to fulfill to come to the best of our own self. That place, that sanctuary, lies within our consciousness. For the most part, our attention tends to be diverted to the outside. We tend to be consumed by roles, responsibilities, relationships, dealing with people, meeting deadlines, traveling, and taking care of family and friends. And whilst all of this is part of regular city life, yet it is also important — and becoming essential — to touch that inner wisdom that lies within us.
As I connect with my own inner wisdom, as I visit my sanctuary of inner wisdom, it allows the mind to be centered and focused. It allows me to navigate a path through the day and through life, whilst maintaining that which is truly important to me. So let us spend a few moments visiting and experiencing the sanctuary of inner wisdom.
Like a ship moving through a stormy sea, sometimes it feels we are moving through the day — or through life — with storms blowing all around us. These storms can be storms of people's behaviors that we find difficult, situations which suddenly change, circumstances we are used to and rely upon but which are no longer the same anymore. So when these storms are blowing all around us, how to focus and center my mind, just like the calmest place in a storm is at the very center — the eye of the storm — in the same way, let me go to the place of silence and peace within myself, and live from there. That place is the sanctuary of my inner wisdom.
In order to access the wisdom which is within me, let me ask myself some deep and focusing questions — questions which take me to the very core of my consciousness, questions which make me aware of the DNA of my soul, questions which bring me closer to the very purpose of my own life. Questions such as: Who am I? Where am I going? Why am I doing what I am doing? What is truly important to me? At the end of the day, what really matters? When my life is over, on what basis will I say I lived a successful life? What is success mean to me? How can I contribute? How can I be useful?
As I ask myself these deep and meaningful questions, and i allow the mind to be quite i listen to the response which comes. Sometimes the response may come after some time, but if I keep my mind open to signs and signals from around me, I will see a pattern forming. I will understand in which direction to move in my life. Each day let me take some time out to be within my sanctuary of inner wisdom
Let me allow this wisdom to guide me in my decision-making. I would live a life of conviction, with confidence, and in alignment with every part of myself. And there is no other time when I am most powerful other than when I am being my true, authentic self.
